    If there is one thing I miss about NYC its my running in Central Park with Sean Fortune , Central Park Coaching as my running coach. Sean is a fantastic , educated running coach, and trainer that understands each individuals capacity as a runner.

    He understands and educates on body mechanics. There were times when I felt certain goals were impossible… but Sean helped me realize, that If I dug deep enough and believed, the times and paces I thought were out of my reach were attainable. He helped me tap into my speed.. since he saw I am a better short distance runner, with capability for speed at my age, but understood I love the long run, and marathon training.

    Sean is hands down the best running coach in the NYC area. I did a lot of research when choosing a coach for my 13 year old daughter and all paths led back to him. He has not disappointed. My daughter’s performance has improved dramatically since training with him. Also helps that he is a super nice guy! He should run for mayor of Central Park ;)

    My husband and I had the pleasure of training with Sean in preparation for the 2017 NYC Marathon and have continued with him to this day.

    While we had previously run several marathons, we knew we needed to incorporate speed and hill work in order to enhance our performance. Not only did Sean help us to improve our technique, he challenged us beyond what we thought we were capable of achieving.

    Each training session was carefully constructed to help us to improve our performance and build mental stamina. It was clear to both of us that Sean is passionate about coaching. A sign of a good coach is someone who recognizes your potential and challenges you to achieve it. After training with Sean, I was able to achieve my personal best in a marathon!
